"Thanks for a great tournament.
It was lots of fun." Ellory F. Ellensburg, WA
competed in the Yak Attack tournament for the first time in 2008. We had two teams competing and lost every game but
one. I was afraid that losing all of those games would discourage the girls on the tteam. Two weeks after this
tournament, we scrimmaged a team that played at a higher level during the regular season. It wasn't till then that we
learned what our team had gotten out of the Yak Attack tournament. They showed a greater desire to go to the ball, and
got there quicker with more aggressiveness. The decision making ability when they had the ball was greatly improved.
The speed in which they moved the ball had improved. It was the not just one or two girls but the entire team showed
improvements in these areas. It was because of the demands of the 5v5 game that is "Yak Attack" that their
full sided game improved so much. They maintained their intensity throughout the 2008 seasonregular season, going 9-1
and taking first place in the District 3 GU-13 Rec Bronze division." Andy S. GU 12Hot Tamales
"This was our 6th year at the Yak Attack. We absolutely love it! No other
tournament compares to the fun, party atmosphere that you have created" Heather D. Tacoma, WA
"My daughter Jasmine and herteammates had a blast (coach too) Thanks for putting
on such a well organized, fun tournament! The girls are already talking about next year.!" Rockin Hawks
"My husband is from Orofino, ID. This was
our first trip to come watch our adult son (19) and some of our high school girls play in 2 different age groups. This
was the best tournament we have been to since moving from So. Cal. 5 years ago. Kudos to the great job you do for these
kids up North. It was fun, clever, the music was great, and the games were intense, but fun. It was well worth
the 5 hour trip to come! We hope to bring more teams back next year. Thanks again." Rossa L.
"Thanks for putting on an awesome tournament. This was my teams
first out of town tournament and it was just the best expereince and fun a team could have. Can't wait for tnest year."

Well Done! We really did not have a great winning weekend and [we] still had a great time. My wife says it's the
best tournament we have attended of all the small and full sided games. All parents have high marks. Way to go
and congratulations on a well run tournament." Bob T. Spokane Valley, WA
"Thanks so much for all your work, the event was perfect. My kids and I loved it. Great job!
This is our first away tourney and the first of the season. Although we were out of shape and didn't do very well record
wise to put it mildly. We had a great time. Thank you for getting us well informed beforehand. We'll be
back next year." Tricia J. Tacoma, WA
tournament. My girls had a blast. Winning 3rd after being the 13th seed on Sunday with a couple of shootouts couldn't
have been more exciting. I din't appreciate the name Survivor Sunday until after 4 games and many GU-13 tears."
Jon D. Bellevue, WA
"First I wanted to thank you for an incredible
weekend...we really enjoyed ourselves. This was our first trip to the tournament, we heard such good things but until
yo have been a part of it you really do not understand how incredible the organization, fun, and atmosphere really is.
We plan on coming back next year and spreading the word to all of our teams in our Clubs." Ginger R. Wenatchee,
"Thank you so much for the incredible tournament. We had a
blast! It was by far the best tournament I have been involved with in the 30 years I have either been playing or coaching.
All of our families are already talking about next year! I agree the shootout style is the best I have seen (and we
saw a lot of it....the first 3 games on Sunday). What a blast and we look forward to tribal council next year."
John S. Wenatchee, WA.
""This was the first
time our team (Twisters GU-16) had ever played at the Yak Attack. It was also the first time we'd played together since
our season eneded in December. Needless to say, we got our butts kicked for lack of practice but had a blast in the
process! The weather was good, the weather was bad. The girls could have cared less. It was just the ambiance
of fun and good soccer and rock 'n roll. Thanks for a memorable end to our last year together as a team! You guys
did a wonderful job of piutting this all together from the parking, to the food, to the clean honeybuckets, and to the great
staff. Thank you." Mary D. Seattle, WA
This was my first year at the Yak Attack and what fun we had. We brought 10 girls from LaGrande OR and we had a ton
of fun. I was extremely impressed at how organized the entire event was and how smoothly everything ran. Unbelievable
for haveing 208 teams. You guys are Super Heroes." Tori G. LaGrande OR
"I just wanted to thank you on behalf of our team and the three teams from Orting. We had great time and
